18th MISSION REPORT
Dear Contributor,
Back in Quebec after a three and a half month stay in Burundi, I come to share with you the joy felt by the children, who, thanks to you, received the necessary material allowing them to attend school.
Two friends and members of the team, Solange Choquette and Josée Leroux came to join me for a period of 3 weeks. They were thus able to participate in 5 distributions of school materials. Heartened by the enthusiasm and the smiles of the children, Solange et Josée animated the activities during these distributions to the great delight of the younger students.
As several grown-ups finished their studies this year, My School Bag added the names of several other children to its lists, at all our distribution sites.
Among our graduates and our university students, many came to thank us for the support provided since kindergarten or first grades. Their very moving testimonies helps us realize how much My School Bag has been able to change lives. As an example, Chadrack, who we have been following since 2006, then 3 years old, has successfully. completed his BAC despite may obstacles. Useless to say how proud I am… This pride, I share with you.
Finally, in spite of a few challenges, our 2023 mission was 90% successful according to our volunteers on the field. All thanks to you.
We wish each and every one of you a wonderful summer.
