Christmas message 2021
Dear contributor,
Another year coming to an end…Another one about to begin.
This year, it is 21 new students from the Rutana region in Burundi and 72 children from the Heart of May and Jesus Orphanage in Bujumbura who join our team to wish you happiness and health.,
ln fact, we have decided to support these 72 orphans by providing them with the necessary school supplies, uniforms and pay part of their school fees. Their « Father Albert » who devoted himself, body and soul, died suddenly last September 2nd. My School Bag could not abandon these brave children aged between 2 and 21 years of age.
Due to the pandemic, we were not very visible in Canada as activities here were limited. However, rest assured that on the field, our mission was accomplished as in previous years. The 2 months spent in Burundi were very busy. Two young men, no longer on our lists but still in university came to greet and thank us once again.
